Bachelor of Applied Science (Traditional Chinese Medicine (UWS) Diploma of Remedial Massage (Nature Care College) Certificate 3 and 4 - FIA Fitnation
Debbie completed her Diploma of Remedial Massage in 1997 and commenced working with a well-known physiotherapist Charles Tzannes who incorporated Chinese Acupuncture and cupping into his treatment modalities.
Debbie was fascinated by his treatment approach and completed a Bachelor of Applied Science (Traditional Chinese Medicine) in 2003.
Debbie has over 20 years of experience, 3 of those working along side the physiotherapist.
In 1999 Debbie opened her own practice and soon after worked along side Dr Grandjean-Thompson who referred her patients to her for management for all sorts of injuries and mobility issues, such as sciatica, neck and back pain, rotator cuff injuries general aches.
Debbie also set up a Pilates studio where she ran weekly group pilates classes and one on one personalised sessions. In addition to traditional modalities,
Debbie incorporates cutting-edge treatments such as stem cell patches into her practice. These advanced patches harness the body's natural healing mechanisms to promote tissue regeneration, reduce inflammation, and accelerate recovery from injury or illness.
As a multifaceted wellness professional Debbie is dedicated to helping individuals achieve optimal health and well-being through holistic approaches. With a passion for promoting balance and harmony in both body and mind, Debbie integrates the ancient wisdom of acupuncture, remedial massage therapy, and the transformative power of the principal of pilates into her practice to help clients from all walks of life on their wellness journeys.
